Nine months old

Huh?! 9 months already? My baby girl is 9 months old. This mama is sad and happy. Happy that she's growing but sad that she's growing too quickly.

She is very active. She likes to play with the toy box instead of her toys. Haha...She is also fascinated with her daddy's hair. Whenever she touches her daddy's head, she will scream and giggle. It just cracks me up! I don't know what's fascinating about it. She starts to stand by herself, without assistance although she will only stand for ten seconds. She has changed so much! 

Also, she already have a tooth! I just found out this Monday when I was cleaning her gums. There is one at the bottom, after nine months she got tooth! Finally! :-)

Weekend Fun: Pumpkin Patch

The weather was nice this Sunday so I thought it was the best time to go to the Pumpkin Patch. Honestly, I have never been to a pumpkin patch. I didn't even know what is that, I have no idea. I thought it's an American thing. I wasn't born in the US. I was born and raised in the Philippines. We don't have or do pumpkin patch in my country. Last I never went because I was soooo pregnant! Haha! 

After we had lunch at my in-laws house, we went to the pumpkin patch, me, my husband and my daughter. I know she's still too young and won't be able to enjoy it but this momma will! 

We took a few photos. I wanted to take photo of my daughter beside the pumpkins but when I put her down she cried! Oh my! The pumpkins freaked her out. I don't know what was wrong but everytime I put her beside pumpkins she didn't like it. She was scared. At least we got some cute photos but she wasn't smiling.

This is another first time for me, the first time I ride a horse. It was scary though.

We had fun at the pumpkin patch except that my baby was scared of pumpkins. Maybe next year, she will enjoy it.

Cowhide birthday cake

Last week, I made a birthday cake for a little girl's first birthday and the theme is cowhide and the color scheme is black and pink. Oh well, of course, pink is always a little girl's color! Ha!

It was a simple two-tier cake with a bow on top. The bow is made of gumpaste and I painted it with pink luster dust for a shimmer look. The lady who ordered this was really pleased and happy with the outcome. I am glad that she liked it. It feels good when people appreciate my works. For me, this is not just a piece of cake, this is a work of art.

The many faces of Miss A

Ok, so this is all about my baby post. I thought it would be fun to show off my daughter's different facial expressions. She is a very expressive baby. She does this funny expressions and it just cracks me up! Haha...

She made different expression in every click of the camera. 

I guess she knew that I was taking her photo and she loves it. She is really funny!

Airplane cake and some sunset photo

I made this airplane cake for a little boy's third birthday.

His grandpa has a spray plane and the birthday boy love it. His mom asked me if I can incorporate the plane to the cake. The spray plane's color is yellow and has a blue line on the body and that's what I made.

This is just one of the birthday cake order this week and I still have another one for next week. I also have a big weeding cake order and at the end of this month is my daughter's baptism. 

Yesterday, I took a sunset photo. I patiently waited for the sunset so I can take picture. 

 

  I was happy that this shot turned out as I wanted to. I love the circles around the sun and the color.
